We are a church that believes in the power of the many manifestations of God. The Trinity is our foundation, and the Spirit who lives in us and dwells with us also shows us the many different images of the Divine, which are available to those who might never read the Gospel. You, yes you, are made in the image and likeness of God. So let's live like it!
We believe in the illimitable creativity of God. Our members bring their race, gender, sexuality, socio-economic position, and ability into the sanctuary of grace as redeemed as God has created them. In other words, the straight white male, who Jesus lovingly calls to follow Him, is joined by lesbian black corporate executives and Asian gender-nonconforming lovers of God.
We believe that it is not good enough to read the Bible or to pray or even to come to church every Sunday. God doesn't care about any of that. Seriously. When Jesus says "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life," it is not to communicate the false notion that no one can get to heaven if they don't believe in Jesus. Rather, Jesus is commanding us to live a life like His.
